Full job description
Plastor, a Bonetto Group company specializing in the design and manufacture of isothermal containers, is looking for a Plastic Components Designer to join and strengthen its technical office.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will be responsible for:
Design and development of plastic components and assemblies.
Definition of technical solutions, taking into account molding and industrialization processes.
Feasibility analysis and optimization of components based on manufacturability and quality criteria.
Technical coordination of design activities related to plastic materials.
Supporting and mentoring team designers.
Serving as the technical interface for clients, suppliers, and mold makers.
Supervising prototyping, validation, and production ramp-up phases.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in the design of plastic components.
Knowledge of injection molding processes and main technologies related to plastic materials.
Excellent knowledge of technical drawing and 3D CAD software.
Ability to technically manage projects.
Leadership, autonomy, and organizational skills.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Experience in industrial environments.
Background in companies operating in the plastics sector or in the production of plastic products.
Knowledge of main thermoplastic materials and their related manufacturing processes.
