Full job description

To support the company’s growth and the continuous improvement of industrial performance, we are looking for an Head of Production to take responsibility for managing and coordinating the entire production organization. This role will have a strategic function in analyzing production performance, planning activities, coordinating department managers, and optimizing processes, ensuring the achievement of efficiency, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery goals.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing and supervising the entire company production process.

  • Coordinating department managers to ensure operational goals are met.

  • Analyzing production performance through KPIs and regular reports, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Reviewing, approving, and monitoring production plans to ensure the proper balancing of resources and production capacity.

  • Ensuring compliance with production schedules and delivery dates.

  • Promoting continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, productivity, and quality.

  • Collaborating with Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, Technical, and Sales departments to ensure production flow continuity.

  • Monitoring the utilization of materials, equipment, and production resources.

  • Supporting Management in defining industrial strategies and production investments.

  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures and quality and safety regulations.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Several years of experience in leadership roles within structured manufacturing companies.

  • Solid experience in managing production departments and coordinating teams.

  • Excellent knowledge of production planning and control processes.

  • Ability to analyze production data and monitor industrial KPIs.

  • Knowledge and experience using SAP, with specific reference to production and planning modules and processes.

  • Good knowledge of analysis and reporting tools.

  • Leadership, organizational skills, and a result-oriented mindset.

  • Proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem-solving.

  • Gross annual salary (RAL) between €40,000 and €70,000.
